Deborah Carter from Austhorpe Primary School in Leeds was named as the National Outstanding HLTA of the Year for 2018 in November following her success at being named as HLTA North’s Oustanding HLTA of the Year for Yorkshire and Humber in September. Deborah, who gained her status through HLTA North in 2012, was selected for this prestigious national award from the nine regional winners by Dr Helen Benstead, chair of the HLTA National Assessment Partnership. The ceremony took place in London and the award was presented by Johnny Mercer MP.
Deborah from was nominated by her colleagues for her outstanding contribution to the school.
